Washed out road.

Thursday, September 26, 2024. Side road next to Ingles here in Weaverville, NC. The side of the road washed out due to the run off. Now with Hurricane Helene on her way, I have my storm aftermath gear at the ready. In getting this picture, I'm wearing my yellow reflective safety vest. I'm certified in Search & Rescue besides being a certified storm spotter, and I also have basic police, first responder, and basic fire training from Hocking Technical College. I keep my gear with me in a special trunk in my truck at all times. If I'm the first on something like this, I have safety tape and cones till I can get the local police on the scene to take over.
