On July 28th at 6p EST the Mars Hill NC and Weaverville NC was under tornado warnings. The first tornado came down very close to Mars Hill, NC about 6:00pm. At 6:30pm it was Weaverville's turn. Two separate touchdowns and tornadoes. I didn't chase these two storms as I was cooking my supper at the time. The tornadoes didn't hit my location. 2-23-26 at 9:40 a.m. Light blowing snow with flurries still happening. Close to an inch of snow, which is light and fluffy. Temperature: 20.1 degrees, winds NW at 3 (not getting accurate, because parked close to my apartment building and gusts have been quite strong between 24 and 40 mph from the NNW), Humidity: 75%, Barometer: 941.4 mb, Dew point: 13.5 degrees. Roads wet and able to travel.
