First snow in NC of 2026

Jan. 31, 2026 at 9:30am. First measurable snow in Weaverville,NC of 2026. I walked out to the road to survey the road conditions as a 4x4 truck tried to turn into the Highlands North Apartment complex road. He went down into the gully. I made sure he was alright then he slowly got out by putting his truck into 4-wheel low. I saw someone else coming out of the apartment complex and told him it wasn't safe to be on the roads, He turned around and went back to his apartment. Weather mearements off my weather station as it remains parked and I dfferently not going out today. Temperature:15 degrees and feels like 7.5 degrees; SW wind at 1.6; barometer; 936.3 mb; Humidiy: 85 %; Dew point 11.5 degrees and 3.5 inches of snow
