This hillside had a lot of fallen trees, leaning and about to fall, or just plain uprooted trees from Hurricane Helene. Everyone thought they were just going to clear these damaged trees out. I asked the workers what's the deal of total clearing of trees. About three houses are going to be built here in near future as well as just down the road. I was fascinated because at my other college, I took heavy equipment training for 6 months. and did projects with operating D9 and D4 bulldozers and excavators for school/county.

2:30pm. Weather measurements off my weather station mounted to the roof of my truck. Temperature: 49.6 degrees F, Dewpoint: 20.1 degrees F, Winds: WSW 2.6, Humidity: 31% Barometer: (roughly 2100 feet elevation) 967 mb.
